The following morning it was still chugging along. When I returned from work, an error had been reported. I kept on correcting and compiling. After a few days, success. With all the bloat now (err enhancements) I was wondering if anyone has attempted it. I am at 2.0.32 now and what a breeze on an AMD 233. I still have it on my Timex-Sinclair 1000 with a Novation CAT 300 baud acoustic modem. Those were the days!!! Remember, IBM went to Gates first and he sent them to Gary Kildal of DR. When they were rebuffed and returned, Gates realized the opportunity and took it. He was, has been, still is perceptive. Promptly paid Seatle Computers 50 grand for the OS that became IBM/MSDOS 1.0 The rest is history. 50 billion and counting. What a guy !! Being there at the right time is crucial in any business fortune. It all depends on what one does with what drops at our feet.
