What do you people at 3DR look for in a level designer? Does his/her/its artistic flair matter much, or are you looking for someone who knows how to take advantage of game effects (i.e. technically savvy)? I hate to brag, but I'm working on a map with a Mesoamerican theme, and I've done a couple of statues which took a couple of hours... each. And this is just at the start of the level! They're properly lighted too. Anyhow, I must again ask... is Shadow Warrior ready to go? The last update I got suggested it would be shipping now, but of course the only source who would REALLY know is you. Thanks for putting up with people like me, and tell Lee Jackson I said hello, as well as that Econoline Crush should do the music for Duke Nukem Forever. :-) --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: BitByters BBS, Rockland ON, Can. Must be thousands of MAPs out there (I have a CD here with 1500 on it...) and the hundreds of CON file modifications. Then there's the Duke Plutonium/Atomic editions (extra episode) and the "Duke it Out In D.C." addon. I know these things are there 'cuz I just spent the weekend downloading MAP files until my fingers hurt. :) Here's a good URL you can try: http://www.elitegames.com/duke3d/ There are also a few dozen links on the Apogee/3DR homepage, and one of those links points to Yahoo's list of sites. With that list, your problem will not be finding files, you problem will be deciding which sites to try -and then finding room on your hard drive to put all the stuff you download. Have fun!
