JS> Trinity? What is that? That's id Software's next-generation engine technology, which should show up as a game late in 1998. I think the main goals are something like this: - True outdoor environments - Fractal landscapes/textures (so it appears to get more detailed the closer you are) - Even more realistic physics That's pretty much all ANYONE (except for maybe id) knows about it now. Anyhow, back to 3D-Realms-related topics. Planning on getting Shadow Warrior? I am, just as soon as I come across the cash I need. --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: BitByters BBS, Rockland ON, Can. Not exactly. In Blood, as you know, there's an "alternate fire" button. In Shadow Warrior, you press the weapon's number again to change. For example, with the rocket launcher, you tap '5' once to select the "dumb fire" rockets, again to select heat-seekers (if you have the card to do so), and again to select the nuke (if you have that too). --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: BitByters BBS, Rockland ON, Can. Fire up and down (when the boss is in the right spot) to make your shots. When you see him start to fire at you, get moving! You should be able to develop a rhythm for avoiding his attacks, or at least minimizing them. Hope this helps! --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: BitByters BBS, Rockland ON, Can. I have the Shareware version. Has it been done before? JK>If so, please give a tip. It can be done. You need to keep moving. If I remember right, that's the one where he's dropping bombs and there are the two 'towers' on each side connected by a chain. The way I used to do it was when I dropped down, go ahead and kill the stuff, then go across to the right and start shotting him. After he leaves, jump up to the top, he'll come back, you shoot him, he'll keep coming towards you, so you jump down to the right, he leaves, you go underneath the tower thing, he comes back dropping bombs, you wait until the ones to the left have exploded and he's comming down to the right, behind you, then you jump up to the top again (without getting hit by the bomb blast) and he goes on to the left. Then he'll come back, you can shoot him, drop down, etc. It takes a bit of timing, but once you get the nack, you can do it fairly easy. You just have to keep moving and take a few shots at him when its safe to do it. I've got the registered version and I still play it sometimes as a diversion / time killer.
