We changed our fidonet provider and I needed to make sure the mail was going in and out fine. I am very glad to see that it is. As far as our having programs like the Talking checkbook for sale; na, we don't charge for them. I did an address book, a calendar, a couple of games and some other stuff. I see you have an internet address and so if you have access to telnet, then our address is bbs.mcb-bbs.org and you can just drop in if you would like. We have over 40,000 files for downloading, 107 doors with education, job leads and games, and of course around 800 message bases. Yikes! I think I never realized how much stuff we got... Oh, I get to record some sports this evening for a guy back east who wants to hear how his '76er will be doing. I can just about tell him considering how the Nuggets have been doing this year. It would almost seem that a bunch of blind guys could have played as well. How was that for getting us back on target? I have been told that the following comes under the ADA Act of 1990, however in reading and reading all the different sections I need some clarifications. Since Our Public Library just was rebuilt in 1994 to conform to the ada act, The library lacks adaptive equipement to access the card catalog, and there is no cctv for the low vission folks, and there is no reader like a arckenstone nor is the shelves for the audio books in braille. Wouldn't the equipment and markings be part of the ada act? Also Adaptive equipment for blind and visually Impared Students both in the Grade School and High School Level shouldn't that be provided under the ada act? I have tried to find an specfic area of the above in the ada act and I am really lost on the details. if you can quote to me a area I would be appreciated.
