They did filtration to keep them from moving around, but in the process of checking him out, it was discovered that he has lung cancer in one of his lungs. Last I heard, tests are being conducted to determine whether or not the cancer has spread although preliminary indications are that it has not. It was suggested that cards be sent to Dr. Jernigan at St. Agnes Hospital, 900 Catonm Ave. Baltimore, Md. 21229 He is in room 679 bed 2. The main phone number is: 1-410-368-6000 Thank you. Someone in one of my writing echoes who is very knowledgeable about authors just posted a note to me that what I received as an "author unknown" untitled poem published in the 1940s on which I put the title "The Piddler" is really "The Piddling Pooch" by Robert W. Our thanksgiving is not unlike the American tradition, however we celebrate it in early October because of the earlier harvest. W. Ross MacDonald is the blind school in Canada, about fifty miles from Toronto.
