Qe2 ?? --- This part was added 01 Aug 96. --- I know how your games with Byron Massey and me are progressing (he's local to me), but as TD, I need to know how your other games are going. Ananda Jaisingh (note spelling) says he sent you 1...c5 on 08 Jul, but the only traffic between you and him I've seen was your 1 Nf3, on which you misspelled his name. (Luckily, he saw the message.) How are things progressing you and Mark Patrick? Something swallowed up some of his messages because he virtually disappeared from both echoes between 28 June and 19 Jul. His 19 Jul message to you (1...e5) is abelled "Repeat", but his original has never appeared. There have some local/regional Fidonet problems in my neck of the woods (the south coast of Oregon), so I've been hedging against disaster by calling a Houston, Texas BBS to check for messages which might otherwise not be seen here. The most recent moves I show for all 4 of your games made it Texas, but never showed here. If you fail to hear from any of your opponents for more than 2 weeks, try resending, try Netmail. I'll be monitoring the echo traffic, but I would appreciate you updating me every couple of weeks on your progress even if you don't have a move ready in our game. Other than the echo, I can be reached as follows: Fidonet = 1:356/4.27 E-mail = bruce.moon@thegate.hotlin.fidonet.org -=OR=- bamoon@ucinet.com Later, Bruce Moon --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 123 CHESS Ref: DCS00017 Date: 08/21/96 From: GLENN KINEN Time: 08:57pm \/To: CHRISTIAN MAURO (Read 1 times) Subj: A game?
