SL> Um, I'm very new to the whole netmail process. Could you tell me SL> the differences between crash and routed netmail? Crash is sent directly to the system. Routed is sent through a variety of systems. Crash usually entails a short LD call, cost depending on the ld carrier and time sent (my company charges me just for every six seconds I se, which makes sending crash netmail quite cheap.) Routed is usually for those who do not wish large phone bills, but the reliability of the distribution is very low. --- GEcho 1.00 * Origin: From the Sports Desk of Damian Stamm (1:273/406) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 236 FANTASY SPORTS Ref: DCK00001Date: 08/15/96 From: DAMIAN STAMM Time: 02:56am \/To: KEVIN YOCHUM (Read 2 times) Subj: Re: Draft Kevin Yochum said this about Draft to All..... Kev - I'm here, but I don't have the time to put together a 100+ player list. I'll participate, but between my own league, a hockey league, work, getting ready for school, running a bbs, moderating two echoes, and a whole bleep-load of other stuff, I can't get a list to you. Most leagues have a standard list used for those who are unable to send a list. I would suggest this method. --- GEcho 1.00 * Origin: From the Sports Desk of Damian Stamm (1:273/406) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 236 FANTASY SPORTS Ref: DCM00000Date: 08/15/96 From: TAL RON Time: 05:13pm \/To: CHRIS POHL (Read 2 times) Subj: Re: FFL CP> Anybody have any neat twists for their league??? It's really too bad that this has happened as I was looking forward to playing in my first fantasy league. Does anyone know what is going on with this league or what has happened to it? Does anyone know where I can get software to run my own league from inside of this echo? Anyone else feel the same as I do about this? Does anyone care? The problem is we'll spend an hour before we start our draft (this Sat) going over rule changes, etc. Most folks don't care ("Hey, as long as the rules are the same for everybody"), but some of them get pretty passionate about how much a 50 yard field goal is worth, etc. Of course, some of them dont remember how much a TD is worth, hehehe.
