It could be worse. I Would you please 1: send me a copy of those songs and 2: you and your folks have a listen to Neil Young's _ARC_. Now this is quite a unique album -- closest influence of this special "musical" project is hmmm the construction guyz who were digging holes near the local elementary school last summer. This sounds like a rock end-of-song chaos, but instead of 35 seconds it's 35 minutes. :-) Other good sources of noise, according to me: 1: middle section of Yes' _Gates of Delirium_ (8:00-12:30). I guess they weren't thinking about Bill Gates. :+) 2: Gentle Giant's random slide notes at the middle of _Alucard_, and similar stuff in the Doors' _When the Music is Over_; 3: Portishead's few first "notes" at the beginning of _Strangers_; 4: Portishead's _Untitled_ instrumental, which randomly switches between two tunes; 5: King Crimson's _Providence_ and all such instrumentals that make sense to very few people. Still makes much more sense than _ARC_; 6: The very first time you listen to Jethro Tull's _A Passion Play_, and/or Boud Deun's _Sleeping Again_; 7: the very beginning of Blondie's _I'm Gonna Love You Too_; 8: lots and lots of things on Happy Family's self-titled release, which sold exactly 8 copies in the Ottawa 1-million people area -- not really noise, but this is way too unlistenable for most folks. 9: Anekdoten's heavily distorted bass, and we're talking about really low notes; 10: stuff by the band called _5uu_. After all these, needless to say that all punkers are wimps.
