I don't like the current format much, but I would like it even less if they made it a 3-2 format. That's too much of an advantage for the division winner, and the wildcard team's fans might never get a game in their park. I know you'll say that's too bad, they should have won their division. But why even have the playoffs if you're going to give one team a big handicap, almost ensuring that they'll lose? The best solution, clearly, would be a 2-2-1 format, or better yet, a 2-3-2 format (for a seven game series -- five game series suck). But I'm sure they don't want to stretch the playoffs out anymore than they have to. ... The Rangers have played well against all of the teams they could face now, including your Indians.
