This leads me to think that there are members of the Collorado affiliate that are staying in that hotel that are looking for room mates. We are in the raddison and we still have space available with some of our members willing to share their rooms with others attendint the convention, and we made Dianne aware of this fact.Nevertheless we want folks to that we too have space available. I was surfing the Net last week and discovered that the GRIT web broadcasting service will be broadcasting on July 4 for a live broadcast of the convention in New Orleans. They didn't make reference to he banquet, but I'm assuming that is what is being broadcast. You will need a Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 computer to hear this roadcast, as the Realaudio program is required. It will allow you to hear the roadcast from a sound card, I believe the newest Realaudio requires a 16-bit sound ard but you'll need to check the Realaudio web site at: www.realaudio.com to make sure. The manufacturer is Progressive Networks, the 3.0 version of Realaudio supports 28.8 modem connections or the 2.0 is available at 14.4 with a little static in your connection. The GRIT site can be found at: www.grit.com. If you read through the page, you'll find a link to the info about the NFB convention. Hope this is helpful. If you have any questions about Realaudio or other programs, please reply here, or via internet at bethh@eznet.net. I for one will be listening to the convention live since I'm unable to be there this year due to financial difficulties. Best Regards, =Beth= -!- ! Origin: Wit's End (1:2613/229.4) ... "Oh gross! It figures they are a mistake. So Mike, don't sit on those packets for more then a month. David Andrews p.s. They would still go out to the mailing list side.
