Groundwater that is below the water table level, should always be pure. The Mineral deposits come into play when the water is obtained from sources closer to the surface. As I said, I keep fish in water that comes straight from the tap. I have had Cheap Goldfish that I bought for 49 cents, That survived to be 5+ Years old. The water here is great, I love it. -Phil --- * Origin: Split Infinity 1-860-886-0239 Norwich Conn. This result does not help the population in the wild. she also said that sea horses do not do too well in the aquarium. If she meant the individual species did not live long or that newborns do not survive, I was not sure. Richard G --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Juxtaposition BBS. For example the North American bears are being hunted down by poachers for the gull bladders which weighs mere ounces compared to hundreds of pounds a bear total weight. The gull bladder is sold to Asian markets as a virility potion for men. It always seem to be something for men's sexuality. What do they have a problem?? Well if anyone is concerned about any of these problems let your government know your concern. As for Sea horses, let your pet store know as well. Though they may be nice to keep, they can never be in a better place then in their own environment. Richard G --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Juxtaposition BBS. Lasalle, Quebec, Canada (1:167/133)
