How often do you "scrub" the water? Is this in addition to and/or instead of water changes? Is there some reason why you need to do this? Diatom filters are expensive! I hear that they do a great job, but are they worth it? There are three black angels, about a dozen very large cardinals, and neons, two clown loaches in the 4 to 5 inch range, a 6 inch pleco, five stone lappers (similer to a chinese algea eater), and a few S.A. silver teteras. There's a large crypt plant, a red mellon sword, giant hygro, and some giany val.. The val is interesting. I had one very large plant for about a year. I found that it was shading the rest of the tank too much, so I trimmed off a few feet. Right after that it started to send out runners. Right now there are six large plants, and I trim them almost every week. MIKE............ --- SLMR 2.1a #T130 Help!
