But like you said i would rather have him doing that than Pulling Feathers. Do you give your Birds sunflower seeds? I try to stay away from them from what i have read they can hurt a birds liver.I ran out of food and did not have time to make my order< I Order from Bird Mart in GA.>and went and bought some at a local feed and seed. Well the bag said that it did not have sunflower seeds but when i got it home and opened it there was tons of them :( couldn't take it back and was kinda forced to use it.. WEll my Blue Crown does not like those seeds and leaves a bowl full picks all the rest out to eat. What is your opinion on this? Well Pete i have had them here 3 months.. they are pretty adjusted.. when i first got them for about the 1st month they would scream and carry on badly..when i went out to feed. now they sit there and wait thier turn to be feed and have not intention on getting all excited. Allthough i have not seen them mate yet.. the feathers that the malke as been pulling and the way they have been acting as to going to the nest box i figured that they would go lay some eggs soon. i have noticed that they have taken the bedding in the box and shaped it like a nest that you would see in a tree..maybe if i am lucky they will do their thing soon!! --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: *Weird Science,BBS!,Decatur,AL (205)351-9896* (1:3607/7.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 225 PARROTS Ref: D5P00008 Date: 05/17/96 From: RICK FREY Time: 04:38pm \/To: DANIEL DELGADO (Read 3 times) Subj: Quakers -> Here in miami they sell at around $150 per pair. She went through the terrible two's in a breeze but she wants to think she is boss. She is now calling "Martyyyy where are you?" until he goes nuts. She says waanna go upstairs, wanna peanut, wanna eat, bye bye see ya later momma gotta go to work, gimme a kiss, Winer pick up the phone and more. she is not fast in learning words but says what she likes the sound of. She knows what Shower means and ask for it. She is still a love and has turned out to be beautiful and she knows it. Still likes to give kisses and thinks if she gives one she is supposed to get something back like a treat. I could not have asked for anymore from her. Marty is doing ok. 2 of the buggies have returned and they are watching them. I get nervous about them but if I dwell on it I will go nuts so just keep going. Hope they don't grow. He is so positive about it all and has adjusted so well. He gets tired easily but seems to do more then we expected so that is a plus. Good hearing from you. Take good care of the little ones. I know how much you love to feed and cuddle them. Diane --- FMail 0.98 * Origin: BIG DEAL BBS, Adoptees in Search! 804-754-0189 VA.
