I would point to the big picture and ask him to do what he did on the scraps. When I tried to duplicate one of the trees, we had an argument and you can see it in the brush strokes. I would signal and tell him to dab the paint brush and he would drag the brush making long strokes instead. It still turned out and instead of a fir tree it is more of a maple, oak, or whatever. I prepared the canvas for him by doing a wash for the sky and grass. He then put in the objects. For the flowers, he held the brush in his foot while on his T-stand and I would bring the canvas against his brush. For most of the painting, the canvas was on a table and he walked over the painting, I handed him the brush, and pointed how and where to put the paint. --- InterEcho 1.08 * Origin: AK Pirate Society, Anchorage, AK (907) 563-9364 (1:3550/558) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 225 PARROTS Ref: CBW00011 Date: 07/25/95 From: KATHY JOHNSON Time: 09:01pm \/To: CHRIS LODER (Read 3 times) Subj: Peterborough/Birds >Thank you for the welcome.
