Although I am proud of their performing, what I am poudest of is their relationship with me. I love living with these guys. Pepper BFA is my very best friend. It is called laskan Wild Flowers." This is not modern art but a real painting with flowers, trees, and mountains. I made it up into a poster. When I was looking for a printer, I would say, represent an artist that speaks limited English." and show them his painting. You could see them trying to struggle with telling me in a tactful way that the painting wasn't that spectacular. That would change when I would show them the photo of the artist that I also wanted on the poster. The poster has his painting, a write up of how it was done and a photo of Pepper wearing an Alaskan parka. They are on heavy paper and suitable for framing. Some day when I am not so busy, Pepper and I will try painting again, but right now I am too impatient to have to go through that again....so is Pepper. I don't leave the bird out of the cage unless Lady(German Shepherd) is outside. So far she hasn't shown any interest in getting the bird. The last bird she was determined to get but she has been inside when I took Chipper out to feed him and she just stays on the couch in the living room. Don't know if she is thinking about me fattening the bird up for later,or if she has decided to just leave it alone. I have gotten a new home for one of the dogs, so with the two I have left its been quiet around here. One stays out alot, and Lady is in and out and behaving much better like I said. Chipper is doing well, eating seed and pellets, and didn't need but one feeding so far today. He still likes his Exact. I am going to let him decide when he doesn't need it anymore. He flutters his wings now,and bobs his head, and makes this sheep noise when he is hungry... Thanks for your suggestions. I'm so glad you've contacted the vet who is in charge of licensing the store. I hope he doesn't give them any warning that he's coming in so that he can see the normal conditions these poor birds are living in. Let's hope he gets shut down and those birds get to a vet pronto.
