Valerian root is the herb from which Valium is derived. It is a potent tranquilizer. Overuse can result in a chemical dependency. Geez-- sometimes I think I agree with the movement to see medicinal herbs regulated by the FDA. This is exactly the kind of thing that scares me. ********************************************************** All-natural does NOT mean "all-safe". I am absolutely astounded at this. You need to go talk to a LICENSED Naturopath, who will be able to advise you on the correct and safe way to use natural drugs in the form of herbs. Giving your children daily doses of tranquilizers is NOT a correct and safe use of herbs. For god's sake, don't "mess around" with medicinal herbs unless you know what you're doing... even if you can pick them up at Wal-Mart for less than $5. --- GEcho 1.00 * Origin: (1:105/215) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 222 ATTENTION DEF.
