Are you contending otherwise? For my part, I do NOT get anywhere near full throughput on compressed files, so regardless of anything else, I would have to take this with a couple grains of salt. I still got a good price, but am still not certain if it is UG since both have changed there stories about 3 times each. In addition to this when I do the ATi3,4,7 commands it says USR Courier - I know someone that has the same modem - and he says his says USR Sportster. Anyone shed a little light on what i have here. I am in the dark - and do not know who to believe since they have changed there 'minds' so often. It is not upgradeable to x2 (that's USR's proprietary protocol) but might be upgradeable to K56Flex (Rockwell's proprietary protocol) with a factory visit if that is offered by it's chipset stuffer whomever that may have been.
