I am looking at this as a victory of sorts as they have refused an S.T.L.D. for 2 years. I am hoping the battle is nearly over and my son can have the help he needs. So there is some light at the end of the A.D.D. tunnel. I had an article printed in the local paper on the Support Group that I help run in the area and I feel that had a positive affect on the principal of the school.Well times up again. catch you again. They feel that this may be somewhat of a break- through. With more research they are hoping to find more out about the ADHD and possible bacteria connection. Has anyone heard of such a thing? They didn't say enough to get much out of it, but it sounded quite interesting. I hate it when the news does that. They give you just enough taste to get interested and then they cut you off. Now I am in the limbo stage with this as of course, anything having to do with ADHD is a priority with me. Regina ... Quick! Close your mind!! Both are just alike and are difficult to be around sometimes. Both are undergoing counseling, behavior & meds management, etc. I sometimes have had to pick them up from school. I also am a member of Toughlove International which is a parent (free) support program which teaches parents techniques on how to take back their authority (whether the kid is ADHD or not). Sometimes it's overwhelming having to be involved in so many things. I don't know where you are but there are Toughlove books at the local library. Is your kid ADD or ADHD?
