What worries me, though, is that neither Geoworks nor New Deal have talked to the seven republisher around the world, asked their opinions on marketing the new package etc. As a result at least two of those republishers are dropping out and will not market New Deal Office, New Deal Lite nor NewDOS. With better communication this need not have happened. While one may have different ideas about how to market the package, surely common courtesy would have dictated that some communication with the republishers was required? Frankly I think New Deal have made a bad start and need to take an urgent look at the reasons that the international republishers are so unhappy!!! It's a start, and I plan to keep improving it. the url is http://www.ozemail.com.au/~wlogan/wlgeos.htm Please pass on any suggestions or comments. This is an Australian endeavour. If email is preferred: wlogan@ozemail.com.au I have just begun using Jupiter 2Web. Haven't used many of its features. It's great using a geos application! With DR DOS taskmax, I can jump to a dos html viewer called Knots, and see my work ...without having to exit and start ............Win...do..w..s... up. If only knots could support the pictures. I have cweb too. I've just discovered Knots and am using it to see a reasonable simulation (without pictures, that is), of how it looks in a web browser. BTW my link to Helmars site in South Africa I just discovered isn't working. Anyone know his new URL? thanks. bye -wlogan. --- Maximus 2.02 * Origin: Computer Connection - Adelaide (08) 8326 2388 (3:800/809) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 220 GEOWORKS Ref: DDS00005 Date: 09/22/96 From: ARTHUR STEVENS Time: 09:14am \/To: SAM EWALT (Read 1 times) Subj: REPUBLISHER OFFERINGS >-> Edward, this is not on, regardless of how clever you are. > Is that an Australian idiom?
