I run it over Lantastic at 3 locations. Just make sure your network control directory is a shared one, used by all, and that everyone has a *different* private directory (I keep 'em on the local hard drive). Network control directory is set with NUPDATE. The private directory is set in the CUSTOM script. But just read the docs... It's well explained. in His service.... jack jmurban@ix.netcom.com ... Paradox 4.0 and 4.5 for DOS come with a pdox.PIF (or some *.PIF) file. This works very well with Windows. Don't know about Win95 but don't expect it's a problem any more than any well written program. I used Paradox4.5 for DOS with Windows quite nicely! Check off the fields you want in the new table. Be aware that your results might differ - especially pay attention to the difference between a Check and a CheckPlus. From the ribbon menu, choose Properties|Answer Options if you want to name the new table as you wish. You may also direct the answer table to be created in your working directory here. For instance: :WORK:NEW_TBL.DB Save and name your query. If you enhance your work with ObjectPal, you may now paste this query into your code. === Aardvark Love! === --- WinQwk 2.0 #0 --- FMail/386 1.0g * Origin: Woodbriar BBS (817)592-0327 (1:3805/28) --------------- ** A related thread FOLLOWS this message. I guess I just got off track and couldn't orient myself to what the manual and the video tape were trying to say. Now I have one more question for you. I also cannot get it to become a full DDE client. I have a server called WinLinx from Rockwell software Inc. I need PW to be able to DDE Poke to that application. All Techfaxes and other docs tell me that thats not supported in one way or another. Other applications such as Quattro Pro and 1-2-3 can Poke but not PW (Sniff)! Any experience with this problem?
