Or Windows? Are you writing code for your app? In PAL(DOS) I would create a field on a fly with the PARADOX command "Calc" -> Calc today()+2 as "Letter Date" for example. Than write the code to modify the report to update this field onto the report. There's probably a better way but this is a quicky. Let me know if this works for you??? I have been scanning through 3 different manuals to try to figure out how to make a 'label' to operate as the 'nextRecord' key. Not much luck right now. There's just tons of different methods. Sure would be nice if there was a manual with pages of examples of different functions to do with ObjectPal. --- GoldED 2.50.A0918+ * Origin: Pam's - Montgomery, AL (1:375/200) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 119 PARADOX Ref: CE400002 Date: 10/02/95 From: PAM RICHARDSON Time: 05:22am \/To: ROBERT GOULDY (Read 5 times) Subj: Pdox5 maintenance disk Saturday September 30 1995 14:52, Robert Gouldy wrote to All: > === > Hi Ya'll > === > I know this has been answered 2 gazzilion times, but please: > what are the fixes on the 5.0 maintenance disk??? PR>What maintenance disk? For the 5.0 Windows version? Yes! Customized Date format now works even if the separator contains more than one character FIXED- some field labels didn't word-wrap in reports FIXED- some text objects (reports) have random wide spacing between characters FIXED- some 5.0 reports won't print if there are 27 records in the table In a report, the group following a group that breaks across a page no longer displays calculated values from the broken group. The printed values now belong to the group with which they are associated. If you set a record band to less than twice the height of a field object, Pdox no longer cuts off the test of the last record on the page FIXED- Some 5.0 reports print incorrectly on networked HP Laserjet III (missing headers, headers in wrong font, too few records per page) Reports with record dividers or with a grid that uses a line type other than double now print faster (as fast as in 4.5) FIXED- Some insert queries appear to insert the proper number of records but actually insert fewer Using CMax() on a number field in a TCursor now returns a number instead of a string The Import ASCII Fixed Length feature now lets you start at a character other than the first on each line If you rearrange a table's field order and then export the table, the exported file contained data only up to the field that deviates from the original field order. You can now export a fixed length file in any order. /Inside Paradox for Windows March 1995/ Paradox 5.0 In-line release $10 (7 disk set) Borland International Customer Service P.O.
