Or should be. ;-) According to Belgian laws, a tree is at least 2.5 meters high. It isn't said literally, but can be concluded from 'the distance plants have te stand from the border of your property'. A hedge has to be at least 0.5 meters from the border and can be at the maximum 2.5 meters high. If higher it has to stand 2 meters form the border. If you ever have the opportunity to go to Crete (the largest of the Greek islands) then be sure to walk through all the hotel gardens you come across. There you'll see almost ever blooming blue hibiscus. I thought the climat at yours is that nice and warm so that the Lantana's could stay outside for all winter. Here I'm having Lantana's in containers because they cannot have any frost and they will quickly die in winter. Therefor I put them in a greenhouse where is heated in frostperiods.
