Yeah unfortunately the sun and temperature has a lot to do with how everything does. I live in West Virginia and the weather has been crazy, first it was cold then it would be hot and now it is close to 90 degrees everyday so we are frying now. I guess if I get green beans and tomatoes I should be happy, huh? :) --- QScan/WC v1.18b / 01-0688 * Origin: * The Pit BBS! \ Parkersburg WV / 304-485-6758 * (1:2210/30) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 208 HOME & GARDEN Ref: EBC00022 Date: 07/02/97 From: VICKY BAILEY Time: 02:18am \/To: ALL (Read 1 times) Subj: Jalapeno peppers I'm looking for a little help with my jalapeno peppers. I think that fertilizing as often as you can is important, and you seem to be doing that. Good luck and let us know how they grow.. Usually a really deep red makes it hot enough for most people. Second, If you want "really" ot peppers, get yourself some Habenaro's. Some of us have found it useful to add some epson salts (magnesium sulfate) at blossom time to increase the setting of buds for tomatoes and egg plants.
