Never fear, I have a NE2000 network card in the computer which is BNC connected to a P200 with a PCI NE2000 clone, and running Windows 95. Is it possible to install OS/2 WARP using a CD-ROM that is a network drive (J: in this case, under Windows for Workgroups 3.11), and if so, how? I havent heard anything about it in 10 years (or | so).. Yes it is. It is currently available in 680x0, PowerPC and 80x86 flavours. The current 680x0 version is 3.0.3. However, I prefer OS/2! What does SCO tech support have to say on this? What are the symptoms? Oh, and also, it could be a permissions issue, the wrong default permissions in the SMB server can cause wierd results. I just had the problem that I plugged a Soundblaster Card into my box and after that the network didn't work anymore. It turned out that the Soundcard just grabbed the IRQ my network card was using. Under Win95 everything was fine since it used Plug&Play to remap the conflicting ressources. It took me several hours to get around this problem :-( (I want my jumpers back!)
