In order to log on to my warp machine and grab all my shares and such, I've put the "File and Print Client Workstation Logon" object in my startup, and added the following parameters: ME /p=PASSWORD /v:local Which logs "ME" into the "local" domain, using password "PASSWORD". I'm sure you could add it to your startup using C:\MUGLIB\LOGON.EXE ME /p=PASSWORD /v:local if you didnt want to put something in your startup folder (might have to change to the MUGLIB directory first... the object sets it as a working dir) --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Batman BBS, Waterloo,Ont. Yes, I have had a look at a few, but there are so many I simply gave up - wondering how relevant they all were to my needs. I guess if you have plenty of time you could go through them, and, as you say find some really interesting and helpful stuff - but, being the lazy person that I am I usually prefer to short cut the research. Just been given dial-in access to work...and the last few nights have been trying to get the darn thing loaded, and after mastering that, I cannot get it working....I know that if I do all the necessary reading I will eventually find the way - but I would prefer to simply ask someone at work Brian ^z --- * Origin: Melbourne PC User Group BBS (3:632/309) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 207 OS2 LAN Ref: ED500002 Date: 09/04/97 From: CHARLES GAEFKE Time: 12:00am \/To: TOM VAN DIJK (Read 1 times) Subj: Re: TCP/IP network TV> I'm running a Linux box which provides exactly the service you describe to TV> other PC's.
