It allows Win 3.x users to run programs written specifically for WIN32S... the 'S' stands for 'Subset'-- only part of the full Win32 command-set are included. Win95 will install and run on a 4 meg 386... but it will take forever to install, and about 10 minutes to boot. Not recommended. When I set up the system I installed MSDOS first, then the SCSI utils to access the SCSI CDROM from DOS, put the WIN95b cd in - changed to the CD drive then ran setup to install Windows. If Win95 (or DOS) is installed first, the boot manager wil be installed with the choices to boot NT or WIN95 (or DOS). You can then from NT edit your own pref's.
