I have a Pentium 75 MHz Legend 402CD, and I want to upgrade the Video card, I beleive that the computer has a PCI bus, but it only has one. But this isn;t the worst problem, The video card that came with my system is part of the mother board, inother ords it's not a separate card, if i'm going to replace my vieo card, I don't want to have to replace my whole mother board. And I heard that of you have two video cards detected on the same computer big problems occur, is their anyway that I can disable the video card that is part of my mother board and then install a new one? Any information on the subject would be much appreciated. Have you looked inside? If not, take the cover off and see if there are a couple of empty sockets; I believe they are the SOJ type, they have connecting pins around the inside of the two long sides, and memory (VRAM chips) can be inserted into them. Most likely your video has 1 MB and can take another 1 MB. If there aren't any empty sockets for this, you MAY be able to disable the internal video; I don't know...your computer manual should cover this. If you can get onto the Internet, check out Packard bell's site, they do have some useful info about their products.
