Is there a way to totally suppress the popup dialog when a program aborts in NT 4.0 WS? Occasionally, the BBS software I run will abort with an error. NT will notice the error and pop up a dialog saying it aborted. This dialog will stay up until manually dismissed, which means that if it happens early in the morning, the board is down until I get home in the evening. I would much rather it not do anything at all, or failing that, to have the dialog dismissed automatically after some time period. Win95. One of the positive attributes about IBM laptops is that they are bringing ut drivers for NT support on all their lines, including those that are almost 3 years old. That's pretty amazing. One of their models uses the same chipset you have and they issued a new NT specific driver for it (works quite well). They cost more, but you get more -- provided your company pays the freight nd not you. :-) I'm truly amazed at how IBM has begun to arise to recognize T. They even have a special NT support group with a "recreation team". If you have a particular problem, they will recreate your exact hardware/software setup so they can duplicate and analyze your problems.
