I intend to buy a 3.8 GB harddisk during March, and that means a complete backup of everything I have on my current 1.2 GB harddisk, re-partitioning it, and reinstalling NT 4.0 (this time NT 4 Server) on it, leaving DOS out completely. Is that at all possible, or do I have to create a FAT partition first, and then convert it? ----- remiel ------------------------------------------------------------------ I cna ytpe 300 wrods pre mniuet!!! --- BBBS/NT v3.33 How-D * Origin: Dalen BBS - +Bergen/Norway+ - <+47-55167262> (2:211/35) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 206 WINDOWS 32BIT Ref: E2V00011 Date: 02/25/97 From: CHRISTER_S JOHANNESSEN Time: 02:38am \/To: BOB DAVIS (Read 7 times) Subj: DOS PROGRAMS UNDER NT??? I just installed NT 4 Workstation last weekend, but I have some small problems. Firstt of all, my cd-rom driver is detected to have a faulty setting, but I can't figure out what to change. Here's the error message: "The driver was configured with an incorrect interrupt for evice\ScsiPort1." The driver is SLCD32, and my CD-ROM drive is a Sony CDU-33A, attached to a true SB16. Where can I change this? Do I need to change this at all? The CD-ROM drive works perfectly, despite this error message. Thanks in advance! Very best regards, Christer S.
