I don't know of any viruses that can go into video memory (memory on a video card), nor how they could execute if they did. What I meant was that the FORM virus loads itself into the main memory area USED by the video adaptors in VGA mode. A typical symptom was that the system would boot, but Windows would crash as soon as you went into graphics mode. What happened to me the first time I defraged my drive was that it would get close to the end and then start over with a message "something changed on the drive."
