Part of their interest in Spectral was similar to mine, where they were a couple of steps ahead of most of the competition most of the time, and with a smaller organization. I am going to buy a P90 or P100 with enhanced video and sound abilities. I am looking for a soundcard which supports wavetable and enables me to put sampled sound onto synthesizer voices so that they can be played (like the internal synthesized voices), edited and so on... I understand this procedure is possible with the Soundblaster AWE 32. But for my video and graphics card will both be from Miro, it would be nice to buy the soundcard from the same company... Does the Miro PCM-1 Pro support this feature mentioned above? Any recommendations? Bye. YES... of course I know Earl quite well. I will say Hi for you the next time see him at the Float Base, which is one of his usual hangouts. I did ask him about what kind of Computer and software he was using for his sequencer once and if you know Earl like I know Earl, I did not get a strait answer. He never mentioned the Sattelite Business though. He has done some composition work for us a couple of years ago which will likely be running again. Help! I hope I came to the right conference for it! I am shopping for a home stereo system right now. I have narrowed my choice down to three systems, but I cannot seem to decide between them. I went to every specialty store in town. My choices now are: Technics System for $1955 Kenwood System for $1610 and Yamaha System for $2266 I will leave out the details, because all three systems are relatively the same. My problem is that I want to make sure I get a good brand name, as well as the best price. I saw a report stating that Yamaha was the top system and that Technics and Kenwood were 10th and 11th. What is some advice? Should I spend the extra $600 on the best quality system? After all, I can talk the guy down when I show him the prices I have from the other places. They also have the best speaker warranty. I have not made a large luxury purchase like this before, and I really do not want to waste my money. I would rather spend the extra $ for a better system, but is $600 ridiculous?
