I trust that you are not suggested that this -> DS> form of investigative work is illegal because it might be -> DS> more productive in a black neighbourhood than in a white -> -> I'm fairly sure it was ruled illegal based on -> unreasonable search. - I find it rather stupid for it to be illegal, if it catchs crimnals then it must be a good tool. Also shows how stupid most crminals are if they register a car in their name when they are wanted for a crime. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Lancor's BBS Hampton, VA. These types are usually the ones designed for -> self defence. - Only ammo that i know of that is banned is explosive bullets, even NATO banned those for use in war. And the infamouse cop killing Black Talon, But the funny thing is, just becuase they cant make anymore 'Black Talon' bullets dosnt mean that ammo isnt still around. Starfire is exactly like the 'Black Talon' it expands in flight, and flatens out in to theses blade things that make it look like a fan blade. It goes through bone and tissue like water. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Lancor's BBS Hampton, VA. And i dont know of any police cars with Transaxles as none of them are front wheel drive. Except maybe a SUV. -> That is the biggest problem. Its hard to get enough -> money to buy gas and tires for a patrol car much less -> money for a complete engine rebuild. - - The tires i used to have to buy to fit the carpice before i got diffrent rims cost 135 bucks each they were the same as police issue. I belive it was a Z rated tire and that is why it cost so much. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Lancor's BBS Hampton, VA. Lets see, drugs take property and lives of people that deal with drugs? Why? Well hmmm, perhaps its because that people on drugs are 100 times more likely to do something stupid. And have gun battles around your neighboorhood over drugs, so the police come and arrest them for it. But then again arresting a drug dealer that is shooting bullets all through peoples walls is discrimanting becuase hes probably black. Bullets dont descimanate. We had a instance last year where a drive buy gone bad because stray bullets killed a 4 year old girl. Did she desver to die just becuase you think drugs are fun? That wasnt the police killing anyone, that was one of your fellow 'druggies' you look up to. In my oppion the police should have shot him dead on the spot just because he killed that poor girl for no reason. - - ANother reason drugs are illegal is becuase they make people do crazy stupid stuff. Somwwhere towards the western part of the country several years ago a man was high on crack, among other drugs, the officer tired to arrest him but the man came at him with a knife, the officer fired 6 rounds of .357 'hardball' ammo into this man all striking lethal hits, but the man kept coming becuase he was so loaded that his brain didnt realize he was dieing. The officer sustanded some knife wounds. But becuase of your limited views the officer shouldnt have shot the man and let him run around stabing people with a knife because he was black. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Lancor's BBS Hampton, VA. RW>Why should a police officer be able to look up a record >for no reason other than his own curiosity but a nonLEO >is prevent to do the same? Rich, I know you know the answer to this. The purpose of the license plate is to identify vehicles. The officer has access to the ownership information of that vehicle for law enforcement purposes including but not limited to checking to see whether the plate is valid and properly displayed on the vehicle it was issued to.
