For the most part, the only difference is where the holes are; but some cases use special fittings. You can tell about the last part simply by looking at what you already have, if they just use screws then you should be okay. Is it possible for you to slide over to Austria or Germany? or, if you have a credit card you might find someone willing to ship them to you from another country. A set is usually under US$ 5. with my Zoltrix 28800 external modem with Windows 95. I connect fine but after a few minutes of activity on either the Internet or my PC Banking program the modem freezes up. When I attempt to disconnect the modem with the software it always fails to disconnect. I end up having to turn the power button off & on. I just got my computer back after 3 months, the modem is used. I used it for like 1 day and it was working properly. The only thing has changed on my system is: New 1.7 GB Seagate hd, External CD-Rom in Parallel port and a brand new Windows 95 upgrade disc. I'm also connecting to a new Internet Service Provider. Funny part is I can call bulletin board systems fine and 99% of the time not have problems. Occasionally the modem will freeze up while I attempt to upload and rarely while I'm just reading/writing messages it will freeze up. This is bugging the crap out of myself. Some people have suggested re-installing Win95 but I don't want to do that unless I'm convinced it's the modem. I'm re-installed the Dialup Network and TCP but didn't see any difference. I have also disabled the images from loading while I'm on the Internet which seems to increase my time online before the modem freezes up. If anyone has any theories on my situation and can provide some referrence to what my solution to my modem problem is I would highly appreciate it.
