More likely you'll have to get a better video card. I'm using an old TYSTAR here, that I bought (basically) brand new in January of 1994. It's a VGA monitor, but supports modes up to 1078x860 (whatever that is) at a scanrate of 60hz. You've probably got enough monitor there, just need the right graphics card (with enough Video RAM on in!) and the right settings in Windows. Until those are maxed out, you'll be wasteing a lot of your time (and money!) > As for DOS, I truly do not understand > all I know about it and WordPerfect, but I do know > that you can't integrate the two processes and any thing > inserted into a message in Bwave must be DOS generated, > at least on my outfit Well, I don't know... sounds like you're half way there, now - you're saving all the Windows files as DOS *.TXT files, right? If you configure BWave to use Wordperfect (in DOS, not windows) you can have it open and save *.txt files in your bwave directory. But, it's got quite a lot of overhead, and many of the features that WP include are not allowed in Fidonet Message Bases, anyway... Your best bet for an editor would probably be something as simple as Qedit (Q.EXE). No overhead, quick-loading and is recognized by BWave and other off-line-mail-readers as an editor of choice.
