And now you are telling me that you want all -> strobes..Right. So do you want a lot of strobes or just the required -> 8 or so on the box..Here we have some Rigs with as little as 15 -> strobes all over it and some with as many as 23 strobes.. talk about -> make you dizzy.. :) Well tell me how you like the Med-Tech Rig.. -> Right now we are useing McCoy Miller Rigs but the first ones we got -> had to have the suspension up graded because they rode like a -> truck..beside that everything else was great.. HEHEHEHEHE...Are you sure it's the strobes making people dizzy. :) I saw one Med-Tech rig the other day. I don't know if all of them are like this one, but it looked kinda small. Besides, being a small squad, the rig they decide upon will be in service for 10 to 15 years. So, we better really like it. :) --- HyperMail! v1.22 * Origin: Wizard's Tower BBS, NJ V34+ (908)-473-1933 (1:107/7010) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 197 EMERGENCY Ref: E5K00002 Date: 05/14/97 From: PAUL GALLAWAY Time: 02:28pm \/To: DAVID WROBEL (Read 0 times) Subj: Re: Is This Echo Used? -> 'advantage' - response time I guess. First off, it's rare for Monoc not to be available around our area. Sometimes they may be delayed, but most of the time they make it and beat us there. Second, it doesn't matter what they charge - that doesn't stop the direction the whole process is headed - and it's usually covered by insurance anyway. And third, if they actually took over, I'm sure it wouldn't take them long to build up the needed equipment - after all, a whole bunch of ambulances would be available . Did you know that Monoc is keeping records on how long it takes the squads to arrive on scene? And guess what they're going to do with those stats when they get them !! I don't work for AMR, in fact I don't even work for a private, for which I feel really fortunate. However, I have noticed since AMR has moved into this area in a big way that the remaining privates do seem to be holding their own. It seems that some clients just don't like the way that really big guys do business. Over all this is probably a good thing. On a similar note, I know a bunch of people that work for AMR, and worked for smaller companies before. To a person, their morale has dropped. People that used to be very enthusiastic about what they did, not only the patient care part, but all of it, just don't care any more. They still love the patient care part, but they just don't have the loyalty to the company that they used to. It's a very sad thing to see.
