THis will STOP (Drasticly curtail anyway) them getting bales more of the rammed messages. I didn't think anybody WASN'T using session passwords but he assures me that if the sytem is set up properly WITH passwords in AND out, it can't happen. ^..^ Moderator AVIATION --- FidoPCB v1.5 beta-'j' * Origin: BOO! Apparently, some SysOps just haven't been aware of the necessity. We now see the result. ^..^ Moderator AVIATION --- FidoPCB v1.5 beta-'j' * Origin: BOO! I'd just asumed everybody WAS secure, but you know what an assumption makes out of ME! My NC tells me that's the ONLY way packet rammers can gain entry. We've got (due to those dang mountains) some great conditions for "unpowered flight". As a consequence, we've got a fairly active glider contingent here, and several different outfits offering tows. Of course, our altimeter readings are kinda artifically high, since we start at over 5K feet. Fortunately, they don't charge for a 7K tow to take you to 7K feet , just for 2K!
