HR> HR> Thank you VERY much in advance, HR> HR> HTR Of course, let me try to clarify. I have a LAN here in Azusa, and a LAN in Beverly Hills that are "kind of" ied together. When I say "kind of", I mean, that from Azusa on my 95 Workstation I can see the Novell server in Beverly Hills. I can access data from it just fine. However, I can't see any WORKSTATIONS in beverly hills. It's like I can't see PAST the server. I am running Microsoft Networking and Novell Networking. I don't expect "peer to peer" out of a Netware Server, believe e :) With a WAN I should be able to see BOTH servers on BOTH ends. However, I can only see the servers with the WAN cards plugged in. Their is an additional server on each side, (running NT) that I want to get talking through the WAN that is connected through my Netware Servers, got it? Here, let me redraw what I have and maybe this will help: ----------NT1---------NOVELL1--------951------------ <--Azusa Network | | | <--- This is our 56k leased line | | | ----------NT2---------NOVELL2--------952------------- <--Beverly Hills From BH, NT2, Novell2, and 952 can *ALL* see NOVELL1 in Azusa. From Azusa, NT1, Novell1, and 951 can *ALL* see NOVELL2 in BH. The problem: NT2 and 952 Cannot see NT1 or 951. Is this a more clear explanation? Thanks :) --- Renegade v5-11 Exp * Origin: The Warp Zone/Simi,CA/USR-DS 28.8V.E/(805)526-6196 (1:102/1013) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 194 NOVELL Ref: EEX00014 Date: 10/26/97 From: HANS BAKKER Time: 12:35pm \/To: ALL (Read 3 times) Subj: Bluewave & Novell Hello All! But I think you should check your frame types, Netware 3.11 uses 802.3 and Netware 4 uses 802.2 by default. Your windows or DOS workstations may be using just one of those frames.
