When I finished I noticed that the time was wrong, so I used an application to change the time from the workstation. Now the server keeps posting this every two minutes: 7-01-97 9:32:31 am: DS-5.73-12 Synthetic Time is being issued on partition "TEST_TREE." Please help me to turn it off. To access the Novell help facility, open a command prompt window and change directory so that SYS:SYSTEM\PUBLIC or SYS:SYSTEM\PUBLIC\OS2 is your current directory. Then try your "HELP" command again. You should also find an icon in one of the networking folders that was created for you to access the Novell help facility through a graphical query shell. -- Mike --- * Origin: N1BEE BBS +1 401 944 8498 V.34/V.FC/V.32bis/HST16.8 (1:323/107) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 194 NOVELL Ref: EBC00032 Date: 07/04/97 From: MIKE BILOW Time: 04:41pm \/To: HANS BAKKER (Read 2 times) Subj: Panasonic CD-rom Hans Bakker wrote in a message to All: HB> How can i install a Panasonic CD-rom in my Novell Netware HB> 3.12 Server? If you do go to two servers, definitely upgrade. In the meantime, unless you want Internet access or some other nifty new feature, I would not bother. Some are more critical than others, such as the fixes for IPX/SPX and CLIB. Some may also be particularly important in certain environments, for example those with Macintosh or OS/2 clients. In a very few cases, such as VREPAIR, the fixes are absolutely essential to stable operation. -- Mike --- * Origin: N1BEE BBS +1 401 944 8498 V.34/V.FC/V.32bis/HST16.8 (1:323/107) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 194 NOVELL Ref: EBC00034 Date: 07/04/97 From: MIKE BILOW Time: 04:46pm \/To: DIRK HOMRIGHAUSEN (Read 2 times) Subj: WINDOWS NT and Novell Server 3.12 Dirk Homrighausen wrote in a message to all: DH> I want to connect an WINDOWS NT 4.0 Client to a Novell Server DH> 3.12.
