Can you give me a source for Pegasus and tell me what it does. Basically I'd like to be able to install things myself because our admins are up to their ears in work and can't really support more than the basic functions. Apparently from the information in the help file, we have to be running a MS network to get popups with MS Mail. Is there a popup ability with Novell while still using Win 3.11? --- msgedsq/2 2.1a * Origin: GYPSY BARON, Bridgewater, NJ V32b/V42b/V34/VFC (1:2605/638) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 194 NOVELL Ref: E3W00010 Date: 03/26/97 From: RICHARD JARY Time: 07:38pm \/To: LUIS MANTEROLA (Read 3 times) Subj: 2.5 GB Partition. The second one does not memorize the path on wich the MAP are.. it's not agreable ! but the first one seems to have a great problem : in the system login scripts of the lan, there is an instruction : if = "" then... ... write ".. messages" ... exit logout instruction that permits to control that there is a DOS variable named NUMBER (and then that the configuration has been made by the lan specialist... more or less). The Microsoft client has no problem with this instruction, but the novell one seems to have one : the DOS environment variables are not memorized when Novell logs in the server, and then i'm logged out ! who knows what can I do ?
