Typically a four user game will consume just 1% of the available bandwidth on 10Base Ethernet. You find them on the Web at http://www.chey.com Running ARCserve 6 just the way it came in the release distribution is a recipe for disaster. Cheyenne's ServicePack 1 replaces pretty well all the code except for the user license file. RW locks up worse than ever now. RW tech says that -> it is the 3.12 segementing the memory and recommends shutting down -> the server weekly. I can't imagine that a server's memory would be so fragmented so quickly as to cause problems as you describe (nor can I imagine fragmented server memory would cause workstations to lock up). I can think of all kinds of questions to ask to get down to the root of the problem, but the one thing someone will be SURE to suggest is that you apply all the patches, just to be sure the playing field is level (that is, apply the patches to BOTH RW and NetWare).
