I will be using a ASCEND Pipeline 50 router/ISDN adapter to connect to the Novell network I have. The Pipeline only has a 10baset input. All of my machines are connected via a bnc connector. I have a few NIC's that have both bnc/10baset connectors. Q/ Can I mix the 2 types of cable in the NIC? It would be the coax inbound to the NIC then 10baset OUT to the PipeLine50. Also the terminating resistor still has to be on the BNC connector on the NIC correct. Basically In----coax/BNC connector out---10baset Also on these network cards that have both the types of input slots, are both of the slots (coax/10bast) always hot?
