I'm new at networking and would like to try to connect 2 computers using Win95. What hardware and manuals/documentation do I need ? (The accompanying Win 95 manual did not elaborate much on connecting 2 computers). Can I still connect a third computer, a 486DLC 2MBRAM running at DOS 6.2 ? Thanks in Advance! Regards, -=Bong=- ... What =do= you call the interface between a machine and the physical medium ; The software/hardware of the unit to the "ether". i.e. Coax / UTP / FO etc A PC card is a NIC, but what about a SUN machine or a repeater/bridge/router ?? Well thanks for recommending the OS, any ideas on the rest of it? BTW, UNIX based OSs do NOT have more support than any other OS in history. MS-DOS and now the WINDOWS environment have much more. Simply because they are more popular and more common.
