I When you write these set statements, do you use relative paths? I am only running one dialup node and that node runs on it's own machine. - shared it's entire drives so as to access them from my personal machine. Rather than setup another (local only) node just to read and reply to mail, I figured it to be an easy task to run a mailer editor across the lan. As it turns out it may in fact be easier to do local downloads/uploads through an offline mail door across the lan. KH> also run my message editor from a directory across the LAN. Once it CB=>was set on that particular Irq and attempt to change it (whether in CB=>a Dos window or in Dos mode on Win95) freezes up the entire machine CB=>forcing me to reboot. Changing the address (300) is no problem but CB=>once I try for that Irq change everything gets locked solid. I CB=>realize the 9 Irq is used by the 2 Irq which in turn is used by the CB=>systems bios, I was just wondering if there's some way to free it up CB=>or return it to it's default settings. Any help would be greatly CB=>appreciated. Had the same problem happen to me, ended up running the setup program on another pc to set the card, incompatibility with the intended pc would not allow the card to be changed.
