Telix 1.114:22:5205/11/97 I am in an outrage. After turning on my computer I was shocked to discover that many of the files in Telix 1.15a for windows were corrupt. I need immidiate help so that I can attempt to recover what possible. First my phone book won't work. I had over 50 entries there including for each on the login-name specified under alt-2. Retyping all of that would be VERY time consuming. When I try to open the phonebook main.fbk I get the message "Format Not Supported". Yet 2 hours earlier the phone book was working perfectly. I made no changes to it. How can I recover my files??? What files should I temporarly copy to another directory so as to save as many of my settings as possible? Is there any chance of saving the phone book??? Do I need to re-install Telix??? thanx, MM --- Maximus 2.01wb * Origin: Basic'ly Computers: Mooo-ing Right Along. I worked real hard { well hard for me } to test those TWO versions of my WWW program and? well BLUE version seamed to work ok and the RED version NOT to work? OK now i don't really want to seam as biased as i really am the reason i call the left version BLUE was because when i cut and past it together the background on this screens BLUE on the Left & Red on the Right and I will just leave it this way. Really i appoigize if it seams necessary. but let me jump ahaed a screen or two. OK its true i tested the Blue version first, and at first it did not work as i had left out a "^M" CputS but anyway while on line testing ( the BLUE version ) { and it wasn't working ?} something happened and a pop up LINE appeared [ENTER URL to open > ] well woo so i hit my Ctrl F1 which gives http://sel.bldrdock.com/today.html and it poped me right to it without having to down arrow (NumKeyPad 2) even once a great savings of keystrokes but WOOO.... alass the next time i called in { testing the Red version } {{ and it didn't work eithor }} never again could i get that [OPEN URL ] screen to reapear? Or turning it on all the time by default in your config (Alt-O, G, G, Y, Esc, W).
