I've been using Telix v3.22/DOS for some time now, both in DOS, and in Windows 95, and I'm very happy with it. Just recently, I installed Windows NT Workstation v4.00, and I'm looking for a version of Telix that will work under NT. Preferrably a 32-bit version, that is. Then: Is it possible to use the Telix for Windows 95 in Windows NT? Have anybody tried that? If so, please share your experiences. OBTW: How do I go about defining macros to run by hitting a key (or a key-combination) in order to e.g. insert a tagline? Previously, when I connected to a busy line, the signal was just an intermittent busy signal tone, and the modem would hang up immediately to redial. Now there is a voice message superimposed over the intermittent busy tone. It now takes my modem about 20 seconds to figure out that the line is busy, before hanging up. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set either the initialization string or Telix settings, so that the modem will recognize immediately that the line is busy, under this new type of busy signal, and hang up. If you know how, please inform me. I am using Telix, and a HAYES compatible modem.
