DIRECTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9" square baking pan. Melt butter and chocolate in small saucepan over low heat. Stir to blend and set aside to cool. 2. Beat eggs until light yellow; add salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder. Beat well. Blend in cooled chocolate, vanilla and pecans. Blend thoroughly. 3. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from heat and mix thoroughly with all other ingredients. Pour into a buttered 8" square pan. Bake in a preheated 350o F oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. ICING: Mix all ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat. When cool, add vanilla.
