I held KCQ9032 back when licenses were, IIRC, $5 for 5 years, held it as they went up to $20/5 years, and until they stopped issuing them. Then, since I was supporting myself as a freelance photographer, I became "Shutterbug." Then I got my 1st Ham license and I don't think I have touched a CB since. I just picked up a 23 channel Cobra 138 AM/SSB rig with the intention of converting it to 10mtrs. After listening to it for a while, I changed my mind. There's hardly any traffic to speak of.
