I have been reading about the damage that zebra mussels, quaggas, etc. have been doing to some of the waterways and shipwrecks. I am curious if anyone out there can tell me about any first hand damage or other issues stemming from alien species being introduced into your local waterways. The research I was doing on an underwater archeology article started the question but I am interested to learn what the scope of the problems are from people who are out diving rather than from the mouths of the "experts" alone. Thanks in advance. Be wet and well.
