Most of my dives have been in lakes and quarries. I live in Pennsylvania, approx. 12 miles west of Pittsburgh. There is a dive shop called Smiley's near my home, and they had a few brands. The one I was looking at was a Sea Quest Favor (I believe that was the model). It sellsfor approx. $290.00. I don't think I'd be too crazy about having my air pressure integrated in to the computer. Just my opinion!! My mother-in law resides in Largo, Fl. near Clearwater. Hope to make it down there to some diving. Thanks again. Ron --- Opus-CBCS 1.73a * Origin: BULLET Inn Board-USR V34+ Pgh. I remember going on a dive in 89 there. The first dive (also my first ocean dive) was great. It was around a pinnacle that used to be used as a pirate lookout. Then we went to a sunken freighter in a kind of channel. The current was so strong that 4 of us were swept aft and were unable to get to depth. Heck I couldn't even reach the anchor line off of the bow. We had to get pulled back in by rope line. I wonder if this was the same wreck. When I was in Grand Cayman this past year, the maximum depth allowed (by law) was 100 feet. I suspect they are doing this for several reasons. First, they don't want the Islands to get a rep for a high injury (bad for tourism), and secondly, the incident rate of nitrogen narcosis is very rare at depths shallower than 100 feet under their profiles. Just my opinion!! I've found this to be a good topic of discussion. Either people like it or hate it. I myself am wild about the air integrated computer because I can tell how much air I'm using at any given moment. What I mean by this is if you are nervous you can watch your air consumption go up. When I see this I enerally try to calm myself down. I think you're going to see air integrated omputers more and more in the future. Good luck on your learning to dive.
