Alternatively you could get a UK Mini Q torch, this has a silicon strap that attaches to your mask strap and the torch sits on the side of your head. > The problem with > them was that it's way too easy to accidently shine it > in your buddy's eyes on a night dive. I have a VERY bright main torch, on night dives with divers wereing this type of "Head Gear" I demonstrate just how bright my torch is by shining it on some object about a 1/2 mile away on land then warn them that "My torch can shine in their eyes also" ... have never had to implement the threat. The Spare Air, with it's 3000 > PSI fill pressure has no such hazard. Burst discs are a SAFETY DEVICE. The Spare Air by not having one in the event of an overfill means that the Spare Air's Cylinder will blow, and I don't want to be around when that happens. > You won't be disappointed, the unit is great It certainly does have its applications. For your information these are frequently carried by helicopter pilots that operate over water, in the event of a crash it gives them a chance to get out. Well, unfortunately, we have had to postpone our wedding (financially anyway). It will happen, it will just have to wait a little longer. We are still going to go diving for 1 week in Roattan, off the north coast of Honduras. We will be flying out of Orlando, and returning there. The trip happens in May. My cousing owns a dive shop down in Merritt Island (Cocoa Beach area), and they are putting on the trip. Suzi has been there 4 times before. This will be my first time. What is somewhat funny, is that I started diving because of her, some seven years ago when we first dated. I never got a chance to dive with her. We got back together a year and a half ago, and this will be our first chance out. BTW, do you remember the network name that we used to chat on? It was the one moderated by Cap Carter out of Texas. I have been trying to remember it, but it has slipped my mind. Rick * Wave Rider 1.01 [NR] * ...
